The orchestra students of Spanish Fork Junior High killed it on Thursday, May 10th at the 2018 UVU Orchestra Festival Competition! All seventh, eighth, and ninth graders did an excellent job thanks to their amazing conductor, Angela Harman. Cason Barton from the seventh-grade orchestra says, “I think it was a very good experience performing in front of the judge and that it could help us further along in life.” Indeed it will! Did you know that people who play a musical instrument have better brain development? A ninth grader from the ninth grade orchestra, Hailey Creer, says, “I benefited from this experience because I was able to learn to work in harmony with others. The songs we had the opportunity to play at the UVU festival challenged me and my classmates and we were able to improve and thrive together.”
