Fall Dance and Carnival

Submitted by david.thacker on

Carnival and Dance!  So much fun was had by all who attended.  Students were able to win prizes and treats while having a blast!  Also, the kids were able to get their groove on and listen to their favorite songs with the live DJ that came to rock out!  The students were able to share their talents with their classmates at our dance while getting rewards for them. If you are a good cup pong player, you could win a bottle of gatorade!  If you are a good frisbee player, you could win quite a bit of candy!

Submitted by david.thacker on

Spanish Fork FFA was represented well at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN last week.  9th grade students Rylei Voorhees and Ashley Olsen competed in the science fair with their projects.  Rylei was 6th place in the food products and processing category.  Her project was about bacteria growth in meat at room temperature. She was able to use her results to help inform customers at her family's meat packing plant of safe storage for meat products.

Basketball Intramurals After School

Submitted by david.thacker on

Basketball Intramurals are after school every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It’s a great way to get ready for the upcoming basketball season. All grades seventh through ninth are invited to play. Everyone is included. If you want to play, show up and you will be put on a team. You will play games of two minutes. Everyone plays no matter how good they are. You can make your own team and sign it up with Coach Carlson. If you need a fun thing after school, basketball intramurals is a great way to have fun. It also helps you develop your skills and helps you get better.
