Nebo celebrates all our school psychologists, and all they do for Nebo students.

During the week of November 9-13, 2020, schools throughout the United States will celebrate National School Psychology Week to highlight the important work school psychologists and other educators do to help all students thrive.

Due to Gov Herbert’s recent declaration and mandate, basketball tryouts, wrestling practice, open gyms, and all after-school activities have been cancelled until further notice. 

Last week’s answer: They are getting paid the same amount, BUT it is not the same as they earned the first year.

Students participating in our "Mindful Minute,"  time dedicated at the beginning of class for students to practice mindfulness, are seeing great results.  Teachers are reporting that the students really love it.  Students are liking a short time to escape the worries of school.  One teacher reported, "We were playing a Kahoot to review for a test.

Pay Raise Problem

After graduating from college, Alison went to work for a financial firm and Jason went to work for a law firm, both earning the same amount.  Last year, Alison had a raise of ten percent and Jason had a drop in pay of ten percent.  This year, Alison had a ten percent drop in pay and Jason had the ten percent raise.  Who is making more now, or are they getting paid the same?
