On Friday, November 10, 2017, Spanish Fork Jr High had our annual Veterans Day assembly.
This assembly touched the hearts of many people in that room. We were able to hear the story of a man who has served in the army and now has children serving in the army. He talked about some of the people he knows that are in the war. His dad, his uncle, and his children now have all served and are continuing to serve today.
I remember something he said along the lines of we may not know anyone in the army, but we owe everyone in the army. We are blessed to live in this land of freedom, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and much more than we have been given.
All of the men and women in the military have served our country in many ways; some have even sacrificed their lives for this country, and I want to say thank you to them and the work they have put into keeping this country free.
