9th grade students in Foods and Nutrition 1 class recently competed in a Grilled Cheese Wars Competition.
Groups had to search for, or create, a recipe for a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich. After making shopping lists and developing a plan, students came the next day ready to cook!
The competition was stiff as groups vied for the best presentation and description as well as the best tasting sandwich. Thanks to our distinguished judges: Mrs Hall, Mrs. Provostgaard, Mrs. Fay, and Mr. Waters. After much tasty deliberation the winner, “The Ultimate Crunch,” was chosen.
