8th grade Animal Science students designed gingerbread animal facilities this week after making a realistic blueprint and materials list. They also had to show proper waste management practices, shelter, fencing and bedding/flooring. Animal facilities ranged from beef operations to dog training, horse breeding/training and even a butterfly enclosure.
