Last week the PTA had a fundraiser for the school.
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) was in charge of this and students were to get a parent signature on a donation envelope. There were options to pay ten, twenty, forty, or even sixty dollars, but students did not need money to turn in the envelope.
These donations are in place of doing what students did in elementary such as the jog-a-thon or a dance. The class that has the most envelopes turned in WITH or WITHOUT money got 5 minutes of extra lunchtime.
Also, 5 envelopes were chosen from the envelopes returned with one big winner! This helps with all the fundraisers so that you don’t have to participate in those other fundraisers.
