TERM 4 IMPORTANT DATES

Here are some important dates for the end of this term:

Thursday, May 14 is the last day that teachers will assign work to students.

Tuesday, May 19 the teachers will have all grades completely up to date.

  • You will see letter grades from A to C-.

  • If you earn a D+, D, or D-, you will see a "P".

  • An F will become an "I" or incomplete. You will have to make up the work in the class by December 2020.

May 19 to May 21 Students, with parent permission, decide if you would take a "P" (pass) rather than a letter grade and communicate with the teacher.

RESILIENCE FAMILY RESOURCES

Governor Herbert has declared May 2020, “Resilience Month”.  Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from difficulties.  Many have experienced difficult times in recent weeks and at times may have become discouraged.  Some students who have received fantastic grades in the past have found it more difficult to succeed under the current circumstances.

The faculty and staff at Spanish Fork Jr. High would like to congratulate our students who have struggled at times this term but refused to quit.  Regardless of the difficulties, they have shown resilience and kept trying.  We would like to thank our “awesome” students for their patience and efforts these past weeks.  We hope you all have a great summer and hope to see you again next August in person.

Additionally, Resilient Utah has put out some helpful resources for parents that provide helpful information.
