Math students at Spanish Fork Junior High School participated in a math competition at Utah Valley University on March 17, 2010 which included the entire state.   Seventh, eighth, and ninth-grade students took the Junior Math Exam which consisted of multiple choice questions. No calculators were allowed during the test. A simple piece of paper and pencil were all the students used to answer the questions.

The students had a wonderful experience competing and then finding out how they placed when compared to other students in the state. They felt very good about their effort and were proud to represent Spanish Fork Jr. High School.    Students who participated are, from Seventh-Grade: Katelyn Gallacher, Seth Erickson, Bethany Wride, Rachel Hutchings, Chad Peterson, Jonathan Hill, Ammon Flint, Sabe Rees, Morgan Harrison, Dalan Nelson. Eighth-Grade students are: Suzie Rhodes, Westley Cook, Stephanie Rodreguez, Natalie Wixom, Devere Morris, Holly Roberts, Nathan Barrington, Jeremy Thacker, Cassidy Crook, Kirtlyn Bholing. Finally, Ninth-Grade students are: Serena Peterson, Braden Spendlove, Chet Oxborrow, Daniel James, Maryn Turley, Sarah Insalaco, Sarah Knutson, Garrett McEwan, Alex Lauritzen, Miranda Porter.
