Spanish Fork Jr. High Students Attend the Anne Frank Exhibit

The Honors English and history classes from Mr. Anson, Mrs. Betts, Mrs. Carter, and Mrs. Peterson’s at Spanish Fork Junior High School were able to attend the Anne Frank exhibit at the Salt Lake City Library Friday, April 16.

The exhibit included a short film, explaining the events leading up to the arrest of the Frank family and what happened to each member of the hidden annex. Students were then taken through the exhibit’s displays by a docent who gave additional information about the horrors of the Holocaust and World War II. The experience was extremely valuable as nearly every one of our students had read The Diary of Anne Frank.  The students represented Spanish Fork Junior High extremely well, their mothers would have been proud!   It is a wonderful thing to see the future is in their safe hands.
