Food Drive
Spanish Fork Junior High is hosting a food drive and it will begin Tuesday, January 16th and run through Friday, January 19th. Non-perishable food items and canned goods are appreciated. Students will be competing with their grade level to see who can donate the most items. The winning grade will get 5 extra minutes for lunch. We will also be handing out raffle tickets when you donate and we will draw for candy! We want to say thanks in advance to all those who will be helping and donating.

Puppets!
On January 8th, 9th, and 10th, Drama 1 students put on a show for great laughs!
These Drama 1 students have been working very hard for a few months now and the result is worth it. Without the right props or set pieces or even the materials for the puppets, these students still managed to have fun and to ensure members of the audience had just as much fun.
LOBOS Remain Undefeated
On January 8th, 2018, the Lobos took on Diamond Fork Jr. High, in men's basketball. The undefeated Lobos did a great job playing defense, and took some seriousness while playing offense. Several three pointers were made, and they had 7 points from free throws.
While most people were thinking that it was going to be crowded because of the rivalry, it was surprisingly more empty than normal. The Lobos continued their undefeated run, and scored a huge 30 point victory, 54-24, Lobos.

State Swim Champ
Madison Parker, a 7th grade student here at Spanish Fork Jr. High School, is a state swim champ. I caught up with her recently, and this is what she had to say about her experiences.
“Swim is one of the most popular sports in the Olympics. Even though it isn’t very common in Utah, I still do it.
