Black Light Dance

Submitted by david.thacker on

The SFJHS Student Council put on a Black Light Dance after school on February 24th. Lots of students came to spend time with their friends and show off their best dance moves! There were multiple kick lines, conga lines, dance-off circles, and the DJ even taught the crowd how to do the Cupid Shuffle. The Student Council would like to thank everyone involved including our chaperones, administration, janitors, and DJ who helped them to put on an awesome dance!

Beginning Orchestra Goes Searching for New Talent

Submitted by david.thacker on

It’s that time of year again.  Students are deciding what classes to take next year and what activities they want to participate in.  Sixth-graders form area elementary schools are realizing next year they get some choice in their classes.  And Mrs. Harman, SFJH orchestra teacher, along with her beginning orchestra students are out recruiting new potential members.

“Yesterday the Beginning Orchestra went on our recruiting tour to the local elementary schools to play for the 6th graders,” reports Mrs. Harman.  “We had a great time!”

 “Valentine's Day”

by Isabella Namanny

There is something about Valentine’s Day that I will never be able to forget.

No, it was not when I got food poisoning from that donut

And it was not the time when my brother was severely injured in an attempt to impress a girl.
