Math Club

Organization:

"Attention Mathlete's, Math club will begin meeting again NEXT THURSDAY (1/12/23) afterschool. Starting next week, each Thursday we will have math club right after school in Ms. Whiteside's room, room 8.

BYU has announced the day of their math competition, Saturday February 4th. This math competition is for 8th graders only. If you are interested, come to math club or chat with Ms. Whiteside"

SheTech

Organization:

"Hey Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math enthusiasts, SheTech is around the corner. If you are a 9th grade girl, you are invited to go on a STEM field trip. SFJH has 50 spots available for an all day field trip to learn more about STEM careers, hands on demos, and workshops of your choice themed around coding, engineering, oceans and more. Come brainstorm solutions to problems, get free swag, and play with high tech toys. SheTech will be on February 28th. As early as next week, you can get a field trip permission slip for your math teacher!"

Discover Stem Event

Organization:

"One more event for our STEM enthusiasts out there. BYU is hosting a Discover STEM Event for 6th-8th graders on Saturday, March 18,2023. The event will be at the Garden Court in the Wilkinson Student Center on Saturday, March 18th from 9am-Noon. The deadline for pre-registration is February 15th! Each student who pre-registers will get a free Discover STEM t-shirt. Interested in pre registering for your t-shirt? Look for flyers around the school or check out our school website!"
