The SFJHS Student Council and the P.E. department are teaming up to bring you our very first school spirit assembly! The purpose of this assembly is to show school spirit, bring awareness to health, and encourage students to join our school's intramural after-school programs.

Intramural Sports Are Coming
SFJHS Student Council is planning a health and wellness assembly in conjunction with the P.E. department's efforts to get our Lobos moving and to sign up for intramurals. More inormation to come!

We have had a great start to the school year. We are looking forward to keeping the positive momentum we have experienced thus far going throughout first term and throughout the entire year. Audition Notice!
Dance Auditions for the Shakespeare Competition Team.
There will be a dance workshop on August 26th and then the actual auditions will be on August 28th after school in the little theater.
Band Students go to B.L.T. in American Fork
B.L.T.’s are not just “healthy” sandwiches. On Monday, June 1st select student leaders from the Spanish Fork Junior and Senior High School Band were invited to participate in a four hour “B.L.T.” workshop in American Fork, UT.

Go Shakespeare!
For two days, a couple of weeks before school begins, over one hundred students from all of the junior high's in Nebo School district gather together for the Nebo Shakespeare Academy. The two day summer event features Shakespearean expert guest speakers; movement, voice and text classes; ice breaker games; open question and answer time on the Shakespearean Festival Acting Competition; Collaboration and district team spirit motivation lectures; food and FUN! This year's Academy was held at Mapelton Jr.

7th Grade Day and Open House
Our annual 7th grade day is happening on August 18th this year from 9 to 11 AM. This is a great chance for our new incoming 7th grade students (and their parents) to meet their teachers, and other faculty and staff members without the pressure of the first day of school.
Our open house is also on the 18th from 1 to 5 PM. This is a great time for all parents and students to come do a meet and greet with the faculty and staff of SFJHS.
