Submitted by david.thacker on

Thanks to a very generous donation to the CTE department 100 of our CTE Intro students were able to tour Thanksgiving Point on April 15, 2013.

The students who went on the field trip participated in a walking tour of Thanksgiving Points farm country, the gardens area, retail shops, and the lobby of the dinosaur museum. The guide that Thanksgiving Point provided informed the students of the various careers involved with each area of the venue as well as educational requirements for each career.

Let’s Obey Computer Lab Rules

Submitted by david.thacker on

If you go to a computer lab during Pack Time, you might catch students playing Minecraft, and/or watching You-Tube Videos.

Using the computer labs is a privilege and I don't want to lose it.  We all need to think carefully about the things we watch and do in these labs.

School Musical Coming!

Submitted by david.thacker on

Opening night for our school musical, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, will be March 20, 2013 at 7:30 PM. It is based on Mark Twain’s novel, the story of a man from Connecticut who somehow travels back in time to the court of the legendary King Arthur.

The Lobo Howl interviewed Ms. Holly, our drama teacher and asked, for a play this big, who pulls the strings to make it possible?

“I do. Without me this play wouldn't be possible, I bring in everything,” laughed Ms. Holly.
