I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, but have absolutely fallen in love with the mountains of Utah. I studied both English Education and Spanish at Southern Utah University, and teach 8th grade ELA. I developed a passion for Spanish and multicultural education while serving a full-time mission in Guatemala.
As a result of growing up in Kansas City, my favorite sports teams are the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Although, my favorite sports to both play and watch are baseball/softball and volleyball. In my free time, I read as many books as I can of all genres and I love to paint.
