I'm excited to be a first year teacher! I'm from California and I just graduated from BYU in April with a bachelors in Math Education. I will be teaching Secondary Math 1. I completed my student teaching at BYU teaching ninth grade and I'm excited to be in ninth grade again. I really enjoy helping students to understand the concepts of math and will try my best to help each student individually in their learning.
Other things I enjoy outside of teaching are sports and hiking. I participated in my high school's soccer team and swim. I also enjoy volleyball and spike ball. Other things I enjoy are reading and my favorite movie is Rise of the Guardians. I also lived in Alaska for two summers to be a whale watching tour guide and loved it. I now love sea life, whales and whale puns. So, let's have a whaley fun time together this year.
