Math Problem of the Week Contest Instructions and Rules
Each week a Math Problem will be posted inside the Display Case, in your teachers room and on the school website. Any student may work out the answer to the math problem, regardless of math class. Anyone who submits their answer must include the work that they did to solve the problem. Any problems submitted without the work will not be eligible for the prize. Answers and work should be submitted through a google form. Entries are due no later than Friday after school of the week that the problem was posted. In the event of a shortened week, the entries are due the following Friday.
The problem will be corrected and the students with the correct answer will have their name posted in the display case the following Tuesday. If you are one of the students with the correct answer – see to your math teacher to collect your prize. Prizes may only be collected during the week that the student’s name appears in the display case.
All correct entries will be placed in a drawing for a larger prize at the end of the term.
The student with the most correct answers throughout the year will be declared this year’s winner!!!!
