Mr. Mortimer’s Classes Study Reactions

Learning sure gets exciting in Mr. Mortimer’s class.  Recently, his classes were studying reaction rates.  Check out the video.  Mr. Mortimer explains, “Here we saw the staunch difference between fine powder and thick grains of powder. The smaller the grain the larger the overall surface area creating a faster reaction. The larger grain size hardly reacted while the smaller grain size reacted super well. Students were able to identify the difference before being taught.”
