Students and Faculty at SFJH are holding a No Shave November fundraiser; all proceeds will go toward Cancer Awareness and to help those powering through this disease. Here’s how it works.
During the week of November 15-19, 2nd period teachers will collect the donations ($1, $5, $10, $20, or more!) from students. Parents or organizations wanting to donate can send donations with students or call the office for details on how to contribute to a specific class’ total. During 6th period, the donations will be tallied and assigned as points for the participating classes.
The class with the highest cash count at the end of the week will be the winner.
A Big Thanks! - to our Administration for providing a Pizza Party to the 2nd period class that raises the most money.
As an added incentive, if the school reaches an as yet undisclosed cash total, Mr. Jonathan Lawrence will—during a live YouTube stream—have his head shaved!!
Other competitions going on while bears are growing out include awards for the grayest beard, the sparsest beard, the fullest beard, the most unconventional beard.
