Socks for Legs

In November Spanish Fork Jr High's FCCLA chapter partnered with We Help Two's Socks for Legs program.  For every ninety packages of socks sold, We Help Two provides a prosthetic leg to a child in a developing country. We Help Two also donated a pair of socks for every package sold that could be donated to those in need on a local level.

Our FCCLA students didn't make it to our goal of 90 packages of socks sold, but We Help Two combined our efforts with that of another school to help Grace get a prosthetic leg.  We were also able to donate 54 pairs of warm socks to a local homeless shelter.

Thanks to all of the students and families who bought socks to help support our efforts.  The $12.00 that you spent on socks may not have felt like much to you, but it was life-changing for Grace.
