Silent Museum Walk

Museum Walk

To wrap up our Social Justice unit, Miss Hodson and Mrs. White combined forces for the final, reflective assignment: The Silent Museum Walk.

Students were introduced to the idea of museum etiquette, and traveled within the hall and two classrooms to experience photography from the 1960's Civil Rights era.  Student responses have been positive, especially with how the silence allowed them to think about the photos, focus on details, ask questions, and make inferences.

It was a great day!
