Mr. Curtis Winters from Orem Jr. High visited the SFJH orchestras on Friday, January 27th, and taught them how to improvise and jam!

Mrs. Harman said, “It was super fun and kids can't wait to have more experiences with improvisation.”

Building Graham Cracker Utahs Locks in Learning

Submitted by david.thacker on

If you visit SFJH on any given day, and peek through the door of a classroom, you will see some very creative teaching going on.  Case in point—Mrs. Harmer’s seventh grade Utah Studies class.  If you visited her room this week, you’d see students constructing models of the state out of graham crackers and using candy to show the features of Utah’s three distinct regions.
