Advice to Seventh Graders: Be Yourself!

Submitted by david.thacker on

It's Junior High... Do you need to change? No way! What were you like in grade school? Shy and scared, loud and intimidating, Confident or self conscious? Show this school who you truly are! Don't change because you feel left out.

Does anyone know what they want to be when they grow up? I bet its no longer a princess or president, but many of us still have no clue. Are you interested in Science or Math. You may even be interested in teaching or for the care of human beings or animals. If you get the chance, ask you parents what they want to be when they grow up. If they say they are already grown up, ask them if this is the life they wanted or expected. Many girls at this age usually tell themselves they want to grow up and become a mother. That seems like a great idea, but what do the guys want to be? An athlete? That is a lot harder than it looks, but if you want, go ahead and try it! Remember students keep your head held high, and be yourself!
