This week in Mrs. In Thacker's CCA classes the students got to make some easy, fun, and tasty treats. The treats that the students got to create were called “Vanishing Biscuits.” These treats were created by a mother trying to teach her young family about the true meaning of Easter, and that it is not just about the Easter bunny or about egg hunts and fun. “Vanishing biscuits” also known as “Empty Tombs” are biscuit balls stuffed with marshmallows and butter rolled in cinnamon and sugar. They are a fun Easter dessert for all ages. The students had a blast making these treats because there was very little preparation time and cleanup time, also they were beyond delicious the students were begging for seconds. As a result of all of this the lab overall was a huge success. This lab should stay in the CCA curriculum for a long time to come.
