Every Friday there is a meet for Cross Country at a different school and this Friday October 2, 2020 the Cross Country team will be competing here at Spanish Fork Junior High. It is going to be awesome! The cross country team is really excited to be running on home turf. They practice every day after school to make sure they are ready for their meets. They usually practice running long distances, running up hills, and doing circuit workouts. The girls will be running first around 4:30 and then the boys will be running next. They will be going up against two different teams: Springville and Mapleton. They will be running for one and a half miles. If you would like to come and watch, you can meet outside by the track around 4:30.
At the beginning of the season, the team had Pre-Districts. This is where all the teams in Nebo School District raced against each other. They have raced every Friday since Pre-Districts for a total of four meets. This upcoming meet will be the fifth one. On October 9,2020, they will have District Finals at Payson High School. The team would love your support!
