If you weren’t at Friday’s boys’ basketball game against Mapleton Junior, you missed a great show. Despite the hot shooting of the Mustang’s Cameron Dorney, the Mustangs fell to our mighty Lobos 64-46.
Coach Johnson sent us his thoughts on the game:
“The boys’ team was very physical and rebounded particularly well which allowed them to get out to a big lead and hold it for most of the game. In front of an intimidating home crowd all dressed in camo, the Mapleton team played a good game, but it wasn’t enough. Our Lobos had their winning groove back. I am very happy with how our team played defense and rebounded the ball. It was a great atmosphere, and again a fun game to be a part of.”
