Do you know our school librarian, Mr. Huff? If not, here are some interesting facts about him.

His dream job was to be an undertaker, and he reached that dream when he became the owner of a mortuary. After 14 years he sold it to become a teacher.

Mr. Huff taught business for 23 years, but when he saw a job open up to become a librarian at this SFJH, he went back to school and studied library science. He has now been a librarian here for 20 years. He’s had some embarrassing moments teaching.   Once he was running late to class, so he rushed in and started to teach.   The only problem was-- it was the wrong class!

Some of Mr. Huffs favorites are, steak, Snickers, the color red, the TV show “Law and Order”, and the book  “The Agony and The Ecstasy.”

If he could have any super power it would be to, as Mr. Huff said, “Make dumb people smart.”

His favorite quote is “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country” John F. Kennedy.

Mr. Huff is great, so take a moment to thank him for all he has done. Thanks Mr. Huff; you are amazing!
