What would you like to be your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment would be knowing that I helped my students feel appreciated, want to be good people, and feel a love and appreciation for music in their lives.

What is one thing you just can't resist?

Chips and Queso, or really good Mexican food in general.

What's the weirdest job you have ever had?

Teaching Jr. High . . . but, I also used to work as a security guard at City Creek Mall.  That was a fun and interesting job.

You're hosting a dinner party. Who are the 3 people, living or dead, you would invite, and why?

My grandmother because I love and miss her, Michael Giacchino, because I love his music soundtracks, and he has a clever mind, and Tan France because then he could help me with my fashion.

What is the greatest challenge you have overcome so far in your life?

I have had to learn to overcome a lot of self-doubt in my life.  I have learned to trust myself and be confident in chasing my dreams and goals.  For example, I was the first one in my family to attend college so going away to college was scary.  Being reserved and quiet in my college classes caused some people (and myself) to doubt I had chosen the right career.  But, I learned to “fake it til you make it” and believe in myself and every day I am happy I did.
