Beverley, Executive Director and Fiona Snaith, a Zoologist presented an exciting educational assembly about animal careers and different animal related occupations. Marine biologist, veterinarian, Ferrier, wild life photographer, aquarist, curator, and avian biologist were just a few of the occupations mentioned. Through their PowerPoint presentation, students were enlightened of the importance of education early in their schooling. The highlights of the assembly were the live animals from around the world. Karen strongly advised the students to start thinking now about what occupation they would like to have. Understanding that subjects such as math, science, and English were all relevant in any occupation they chose, students need to be diligent in their education.
