Thanks, Mr. Christensen!

This year our beloved principal is leaving us to be principal at Spanish Fork High School.  I asked some students how they feel about him. Here are some of the kind words they said. “Mr. Christensen is an all around good guy, he loves kids and is always happy to meet us”, “He is the best principal I've had,” "He always says hi to me,” and “He is really cheerful”.

I asked our principal the following questions and here's what they were.

1: How long have you been principal at SFJHS?

Answer: “I have been a principal at SFJHS for three years!"

Lobos Shine at District Track Meet

Submitted by david.thacker on

Here at Spanish Fork Junior High, our Track Team recently competed at the District Track Meet at Salem Hills High School! Our track team had 6 quick Lobos chosen to run in each event. The runners have been working very hard all season to qualify for this meet. Those who qualified competed in relays, sprinting races, long distance races, and field events. The first day was the semi-finals, and on the second day the relays and finals competed. Not to mention a shout out to our fierce Girls Medley Team!!

Mrs. Kelly’s FACS Exploration classes held a Food Truck Round-Up today.  Students learned about marketing and entrepreneurship as well as demonstrating the skills they have learned in the kitchen to read and follow a recipe.  The student groups competed with each other to market and sell cookies to other classes in the school.

The Girls Who Code club is a great way to have fun, be with friends, and learn about technology.

Mrs. Mendonsa, a 7th grade science teacher, has made a fun club called Girls Who Code. "A fun and innovative way to play and learn, at the same time!" Agrees Mrs. Mendonsa.
