The Honors social studies classes for eighth and ninth grade from Spanish Fork Junior High School attended the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall exhibit Thursday, September 9, in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
The students were moved by the beauty, reverence, and meaning of the 58,253 names etched in the wall. Many students returned that evening with their families to the memorial to share and spend more time there, some finding the names of their relatives on the Wall.
