Mr. Kevin Lovell has been involved in music for most of his life. From an early age, he would go to his grandfather's band room and play instruments. Since deciding to pursue a degree in Instrumental Music Education from Brigham Young University, he has taught at both Springville High School and Salem Hills High School. His primary instrument is the trombone, but he will regularly play other instruments as well for fun and to improve his teaching.
Beyond his interests in music, Mr. Lovell enjoys spending his time playing games with his close friends. Video games and board games are both readily enjoyed, and he is a big fan of strategy games as he was a former tournament chess player. Additionally, he loves spending time with his family and his black cat named Twilight. Recently, he also became an uncle and loves to play with his young nephew Carter.
