I am one of the new 9th grade math teachers and will be teaching Math 1. I am originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and love the heat more than the cold. I am a huge ice hockey fan and love going to hockey games. I know it will be a shock to most people, but my team is the Vegas Golden Knights. I grew up with three brothers and would play street hockey with them in my neighborhood.
I love to try new things and have recently learned how to make artisan bread and pizza. I am currently crocheting myself a sweater, because I want to see if I can do it. I also love to play badminton and ping pong. Whenever my family is together, we like to challenge each other to badminton matches. We are all quite competitive so it can be fun.
I like to read and love any book that is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s work. I also like to put together puzzles while watching movies. I recently watched Wild Mountain Thyme and enjoyed it. I have the goal one day to put a puzzle together that is just one solid color. I want to see how my puzzle skills compare when I can not use the picture to help me.
