As part of a real-world writing unit, students in Mrs. Thompson’s 8th grade English classes sent letters of compliment or complaint to companies of their choice via USPS. Students shared their honest experiences and offered constructive feedback to manufacturers while refraining from solicitation. So far, messages of positive praise have garnered more responses than those expressing concerns, but excitement grows in the classroom every time correspondence is received.
The Lobo Way encourages every student to “Find My Voice,” and writing diplomatic letters is just one way students at Spanish Fork Junior High are doing that! Check out the swag students have received as a result of their efforts…
