Christmas T-Shirts Problem
Amy just learned how to make shirts. She decided to make her friends Emily, Nancy, Sharon, Kelly, Meg and Liz each a different one for Christmas. She has red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple fabric to use. But Amy doesn’t want to seem obvious and ask them what color of shirt they want.
Help Amy find the perfect color for each of her friends by using the following information:
Mr. Carlson’s PE classes recently ran the infamous PACER during class. Brooklyn Anderson, a seventh-grader, broke the girls’ school record!
Check out the list of other top performers from Wednesday’s run.
This year's class plays were amazing. The costumes were realistic for the time period, and the shows were so funny! I loved being able to see my friends perform and have fun. I’m so glad they have the opportunity to show their amazing talents and put on a show everyone will love. Words can’t even describe how amazing this show was.
We ran the pacer yesterday and the following were the tops in my class including Benjamin Clayson who now holds the school record!
We recently learned from the state PTA that 4 of the 5 Utah Finalists for the Reflections National Theme Search are from Mr. Lawrence's classes at our school.
Very exciting!
Maybe we will see one of these themes chosen as the Reflections theme for the whole country. The following freshmen were selected to represent Utah in the nationwide search:
1. The Weight of Words - Kacie Slade Spanish Fork Jr High PTSA
2. Tomorrow is a New Beginning - Mekeli Clark Spanish Fork Junior High PTSA
SFJHS 9th grade student, Alyiah Beardall, took Honorable Mention in the Nebo School District Christmas Card Design Contest. Alyiah's art teacher, Mr. Millman, said of Alyiah, "even with very little time to complete, Alyiah put forth her best talent and created a beautiful piece." Thanks for representing SFJH so well, Alyiah! #theloboway #strengthenthepack #findmyvoice
This week in Advanced PE the three sports are Volleyball, Basketball and Gatorball. Three of the students favorites. Volleyball is always a big SMASH!!!!
Come support SFJHS Orchestra! On Thursday December 12, the SFJHS Orchestra will perform in their Christmas Concert. These students have been working hard to get ready for the big night. In class and on their own, these students practice until they get it right.
