Every Friday there is a meet for Cross Country at a different school and this Friday October 2, 2020 the Cross Country team will be competing here at Spanish Fork Junior High. It is going to be awesome! The cross country team is really excited to be running on home turf. They practice every day after school to make sure they are ready for their meets. They usually practice running long distances, running up hills, and doing circuit workouts. The girls will be running first around 4:30 and then the boys will be running next.

Lobos Cross Country
Last Friday, Sept. 25th, the Lobos competed in a cross country meet at Mapleton Junior High. They ran against both Salem, and Mapleton Junior High Schools. The weather was perfect, and the competitors ran fast. The course was one mile and a half. The Mapleton girls had an outstanding race, having multiple girls taking the lead. On the other hand, our Lobo boys team crushed the competition. Ryan Olsen took first place, and Ben Clayson came in third. Congratulations to all of our Lobo runners for an excellent race!
