SHAKESPEARE TEAM GOES ON THE ROAD
Our fabulous Shakespeare team will be travelling to Cedar City this weekend for Competitions. The team is comprised of 26 of our most talented actors. They will be competing with various scenes from Shakespeare's works including Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and A Winter's Tale. We also have students competing in the the dance portion. The dances are inspired by Hamlet and Sonnet 71. If you'd like to see the great things the students are doing with Shakespeare's works, we will be having an evening performance here at SFJHS in the Little Theatre: Monday, October 7, at 7:30 pm. Come and support our talented students.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
Girls tennis is preparing for our last regular tournament this Thursday vs. Diamond Fork. Next Monday and Tuesday we will compete in the DISTRICT TOURNAMENT. The girls have done a great job this year.
PTA REFLECTIONS
PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within.
