What is March without a little basketball Madness? Join us for our SFJHS PTA sponsored MARCH MADNESS FUNDRAISER, March 28th - April 1st! Please return the parent-signed envelope that was sent home this week to your 2nd period class with a minimum donation of $5 or more per student. There is also the potential to match the money raised through the Nebo Foundation so every donation counts! We do only one fundraiser per year and this is it!
March 22nd Briley Young pitched another perfect game with 9 up 9 down all being strikeouts in a shortened game due to the run rule. Aislyn Sharp hit a grandslam to lead the Lady Dons. MItchell, Cowden, Leonard and Brown all added doubles with Brown adding two of her own as they blanked the Skyhawks 16-0. Harrison and Brown scored 3 runs each to lead the Lady Dons in the 17-0 victory over the Skyhawks in the 2nd game of the doubleheader. Leonard added a homerun with Harrison, Brown and Mitchell adding doubles while each going 3 for 3 at the plate.
Tournament Problem
In a 16-team basketball tournament, if every team plays every other team twice, how many games are played in the tournament?
Ms. Terry and Mrs. Harmer took their 7th grade classes to Antelope Island today!!! The kids were able to hike Buffalo Point to see the beautiful Great Salt Lake, learn about the bison on the island, and explore the beach!
Previous communications have incorrectly stated the time for doors to open - the correct time that doors will open is 6:30pm. All other information is correct - The event is free of charge and open to all students and their families/friends. It will be held at Salem Hills High School, tomorrow, March 25th beginning at 7:00pm with a meet and greet afterwards with the band from 8:00 to 9:00 pm
