Last week, Miss Hodson's 8th grade English classes studied inference making, storytelling, and plot using poetry. One of the poems analyzed by the class was Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky".
Coach Johnson's classes were able to experience golf out on our Jr. High school fields. With a short course set up the students practiced their golfing skills using a birdie ball.
Maybe we have future professional golfers amongst us!

Jelly Bean Jar
The local high school had a fundraiser where students could pay $1 to guess the number of jelly
beans in a jar. Bart guessed that there were 43, Lisa guessed 34, and Maggie guessed 41. One person was off by 6, another was off by 3, and another was off by 1.
How many jelly beans were in the jar?
