Brylee Rudd – Varsity Catcher

Spanish Fork softball freshman Brylee Rudd hit a walkoff grand slam to beat Maple Mountain 9-7 in a game last week.  Bottom of the 8th inning, 2 outs behind by two runs and Brylee slammed it over the fence for the win.  Brylee also was instrumental in the 15-1 win over Wasatch this week with another home run and 3 base hits.  Congrats Brylee!!

Thanks for a Successful PTA Fundraiser - Thanks students, parents, "coaches", teachers and staff for helping us hit a slam dunk with our PTA sponsored March Madness fundraiser!  Thanks to the many of you that participated we were able to beat our goal and raised $1590.10 with money to be donated towards school technology!  We had a little March Madness and announced our winners Tuesday morning. Team BTB took 1st place with A-Team only one envelope behind, followed up by Team Holy Lobos then Team Excellent. Mrs.

Chris Thompson Receives Crystal Apple Award

Chris is loved and respected by many, including her students.  As we all know, there are many extra 
assignments that go along with our teaching assignment.  Chris has taken on her fair share of these and 
excelled at all of them.  She has coached basketball and track, has been on the community council, taken 
care of the faculty fund, and has mentored student teachers.  She is currently the advisor for student 
council and an association building representative.  Chris is a published author and has also become very 

Baseball Card Problem

Billy bought a pack of baseball cards and found a rookie card worth $10.  He decided to sell it to his friend Tommy for $10.  After the baseball season ended, the card was worth more and Billy bought it back from Tommy for $15.  The following year, Billy sold the card for $8.  Did Billy make or lose money in the end?  How much?
