Observing Chemical Reactions
Friday, November 5th, in Mr. Mortimer science class, students discussed the signs of a chemical reaction. Then, in an awesome demonstration, students got to be ooh-ed and aah-ed by the majesty of chemicals interacting.

Five workers together can build a road in 20 days. Suppose every worker works at the same rate. If three workers work on the road for 10 days before eleven more workers join them, then how many days will it take to build the road in total?

Spanish Fork Jr High's FCCLA chapter is selling socks to support We Help Two's Socks for Legs Campaign
Spanish Fork Jr High's FCCLA chapter is selling socks to support We Help Two's Socks for Legs Campaign. Every 90 packages of socks sold will provide a prosthetic leg for someone in need. Our goal is to sell enough socks to provide at least one prosthetic leg. We will also receive one pair of socks per package sold that we can donate to local needs.
CCR (College & Career Readiness)
Parents & Students are invited to meet with their Counselor for an individual CCR (College & Career Readiness) meeting. This is a great opportunity to discuss high school graduation requirements, post secondary education and the many programs that guide these future goals. Spanish Fork Junior High Presents Music Theatre International All Together Now!
Our school's show, All Together Now! is a Broadway Musical Revue full of great songs from classic musicals to modern ones. In cooperation with MTI, we're putting on this show to celebrate theatre.
The show opens on November 12th and runs on the 13th and 15th as well. The doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:00 pm.

No Shave November
Some of the teachers at Spanish Fork Junior High School are a little less hairy than they usually are. To show support for Mrs. Anderson, an English teacher at Spanish Fork Junior who is battling cancer, several teachers agreed to shave off their beloved facial hair at the beginning of November.
