Several of our students here at Spanish Fork Jr. High including Sam Jex, Michael Wyss, Mick Barber, Boston Bradford, and Dexter Bradford all had the opportunity to participate on the high school golf team this year.

The season began about a month before school even started and finished in early October. The team practiced every day. There were 12 kids on the team.  Every week the qualifiers determined who would play varsity and who would play JV in the upcoming match or tournament.

We are extending our January food drive into next week! Utah Community Action Services and Food Bank barrels are in the front lobby, let’s fill them up! The food bank is in high need at this time of year. Put your donation in your backpack the night before school so you don’t forget! Clean out your pantry this weekend and bring what you can to donate to those in great need.

Hope Week

Submitted by david.thacker on Thu, 01/18/2018 - 07:24

Hope Week is here! On Hats for Hope Tuesday, students had the opportunity to say what gave them Hope, and add to the chain. On White Out Wednesday, we heard messages from the band Foreign Figures, who sang and gave the students messages for a lifetime. Coming up on Thankful Thursday, wear some crazy socks and show gratitude all day long. Remember to write a letter to someone during Pack Time!
