Miss Toone was raised in Arizona but has lived in Utah the past 7 years. A recent graduate from BYU, she will be teaching Spanish and is so excited to be at SFJH! She also graduated with minors in TESOL and Music. Miss Toone loves playing spike-ball, going on long walks, and watching reality TV. She is a BYU fan through and through and also plays the oboe for the Draper Philharmonic Orchestra. She has traveled all over the world and looks forward to teaching her students about the culture from the countries she's experienced.

Hi! I'm Jenica Woolley. I will be teaching College and Career Awareness and Exploring Technology 2. I studied Technology and Engineering Education at Brigham Young University and graduated in April 2020. My major emphases were in multimedia and biotechnology, and I minored in Environmental Science. I just graduated from BYU with my degree in Biological Science Education and I will be teaching 7th grade science. This is my first year teaching, and I am very excited to be at Spanish Fork Junior High. I love science because it allows me to learn about how the world around us works.

I enjoy taking walks, hiking, and am trying to get into rock climbing. I love reading, playing board games, and playing tennis. I love animals, especially dogs and turtles. I also enjoy traveling to new places and trying new foods.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Jarvis! I will be the choir teacher here at Spanish Fork Jr High, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to make music with you!

I just graduated from BYU in April with a degree in music education with a choral emphasis. I also just got married to the love of my life in April. You could say April was a pretty big month for me!

I love Batman, board games, sports, and essentially anything that gives me the chance to be competitive. My all time favorite book is Ender’s Shadow, and I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Hello! My name is Lisa Peterson. I am so excited to be a Lobo! I have been a 6th grade teacher for 13 years but now I'm ready for a new challenge. I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade math this year at SFJH. I believe in believing in every student, that each one has the potential to understand and do math. I also hate boring math classes.

I grew up in southern Nevada, near Las Vegas. I graduated from BYU in Math Education and am excited to teach where I student-taught! My husband is from Springville, UT so I really enjoy this area. We have a sweet pet rabbit, Grace Hopper (named after a mathematician, of course). I love to read, knit, hand-letter, and do basically anything crafty.
