Hi! I'm Jenica Woolley. I will be teaching College and Career Awareness and Exploring Technology 2. I studied Technology and Engineering Education at Brigham Young University and graduated in April 2020. My major emphases were in multimedia and biotechnology, and I minored in Environmental Science. I became a teacher because I enjoy seeing students go through the design and engineering process to solve problems.

I just graduated from BYU with my degree in Biological Science Education and I will be teaching 7th grade science. This is my first year teaching, and I am very excited to be at Spanish Fork Junior High. I love science because it allows me to learn about how the world around us works.

I enjoy taking walks, hiking, and am trying to get into rock climbing. I love reading, playing board games, and playing tennis. I love animals, especially dogs and turtles. I also enjoy traveling to new places and trying new foods.

Hello! My name is Lisa Peterson. I am so excited to be a Lobo! I have been a 6th grade teacher for 13 years but now I'm ready for a new challenge. I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade math this year at SFJH. I believe in believing in every student, that each one has the potential to understand and do math. I also hate boring math classes.

I grew up in southern Nevada, near Las Vegas. I graduated from BYU in Math Education and am excited to teach where I student-taught! My husband is from Springville, UT so I really enjoy this area. We have a sweet pet rabbit, Grace Hopper (named after a mathematician, of course). I love to read, knit, hand-letter, and do basically anything crafty.
