SFJH’s science fair has long since come and gone, but that doesn’t mean that those who were selected to move on haven’t been busy.  This reporter recently discovered that Emily Colton, Cameron Smith & Natalie Reese, Brendan Bakker, and Ryan Berger were honored at June’s Nebo School District meeting for their outstanding performance at the Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair (CUSEF) competition.

Emily Colton took home the junior-first place award in Physics and Astronomy for her project entitled “A ‘Note’-Worthy Investigation of Frequencies.”  This project also took home the Broadcom Masters award.

Junior-second place award for Medicine & Health was won by Cameron Smith & Natalie Reese for their project “Rising to the Challenge.”

Two student from Spanish Fork Junior took home junior –third place awards.  The Engineering award went to “Air Resistance: The Dark Side of the Force”, by Brendan Bakker.   The Medicine & Health award went to “Are All Carbs Created Equal?”, by Ryan Berger.

Congratulations students.  We are so proud of you.
