Students Exercise Mind and Body With Yoga

YOGA!!!!  Yoga is a fun way to help your body relax and calm down.  It is also a great workout!  Many students in our junior high school get a small taste of what yoga is like in Coach Johnson's Body Conditioning class.  Once they’ve been introduced to this form of working out, many enjoy it! 

Yoga will also help with one’s flexibility and many other aspects of their athletic careers. 

One very cool and interesting fact about yoga is that it is used by multiple famous sports athletes and teams both professionally and collegiately.  It is a good way to learn to how to become flexible and to center all of that energy to be able to use throughout practices and games.

Yoga is awesome!
