Mrs. Shea Harmer and Ms. Lois Terry’s 7th and 8th grade Social Studies students recently had the opportunity to learn about the contributions made by Native Americans to the United States and our lifestyle.

During a presentation by Eileen Quintana and Brenda Beyal of the Nebo School District Indian Education program, students learned about the history of Native Americans and their impact on history.  They were also able to examine artifacts Quintana and Beyal brought with them.

Student Council - Working Hard!

Submitted by david.thacker on

The Spanish Fork Jr. High Student Council was hard at work this last Saturday as they came out to paint the school logo on a storage container by the school. It was hard work, but everyone pitched in with helping hands and the logo was done in no time with excellent results! The students had lots of fun performing the service and want to thank the administration, Mr. Christensen, Mr. Whitney, and Mr. Barber, and our awesome custodian, Mr. Hansen, for the opportunity and help in spreading Lobo Pride. GO LOBOS!!!

SFJH Lady Lobos Take District Tennis Championship

Submitted by david.thacker on

The varsity Lady Lobs tennis team took districts this year beating Mapleton Jr. by one point in the team score 33-32!

This season, the SFJH girls’ tennis team enjoyed the biggest group of returning players in many years.  And the team saw the benefits of having mature players as the season progressed.
