Lady Lobos Ready to Ace Tennis Season

Submitted by david.thacker on

Tennis season is here!  We have a record on number of girls on the team this year!  Our thirty seven Lady Lobo tennis players have all come ready to play this year and have excelled even this early in the season.

So far we have played one preseason match and one regular season match and both have been great successes!  We look forward to our intramural team playing matches over the next few weeks and our Varsity and J.V. team preparing for districts!

Congrats to Ms. Parker who tied for first place at District 15’s Humorous Speech Contest. Ms. Parker is a fantastic public speaker and pretty funny, to boot! She enjoys employing her writing and performing skills in a hobby that brings her much pleasure. Good luck in the next level of competition!

The 2016-2017 SFJHS Student Council is starting the year off right with a service project at Spanish Fork Cemetery. Members of the council spent the afternoon cleaning up litter, pulling weeds, and fixing floral arrangements to help beautify the area. The Student Council is looking forward to a great year full of service, fun activities, and boosting school spirit! Go Lobos!
