Students from Ms. Nielsen's Freshman ELA and Honors English classes have answered the question, "Can I enhance my writing and create sensory images for my readers by using metaphors and similes?"  Their answer is a resounding YES!

Purpose

The purpose of this video contest is to promote digital citizenship, safety and wellness through students' creativity, tech and filming skills.

This past weekend, 15 SFJHS 9th grade drama students attended Drama Con at UVU. We had so much fun attending workshops, a show, and hanging out with friends. Our own Miss Holley received a special award from the Utah Theatre Association for "dedicated service to Theatre Education in Utah."
