Last night, here on the home court, our Lady Lobos outshot the Cavewomen from American Fork Junior by almost 20 points.  Here are Coach Harmer’s thoughts on last night’s win.

“The Lady Lobos hosted the American Fork Cavewomen in their first home game of the season.”

“The Lady Lobos got off to a great start and held a solid lead the entire game. The girls were confident and kept their heads and soundly beat the Cavemen 41-26.”

Important stats from the December 1st game:

Tessa Clayton had 14 points (two 3 pointers)

Courtney Davis had 12 points

Lady Lobos Crush Diamond Fork

Cross-town rivalries are always intense.  And for Spanish Fork Junior High, the rivalry with Diamond Fork Junior is nothing if not passionate.

On November 30th, our girls basketball team visited DFJH—visited them with destruction!  Here is a report of the game from Coach Harmer.

“Today’s rivalry game was a tough one for the Lady Lobos as they are coming off a five-day break.  However, Kristin Rhees and Maya Yeates got the ball rolling with a lot of steals converted to easy buckets.”

Triskaidekaphobia

Triskaidekaphobia is an irrational fear of the number 13. Because of fear and superstition surrounding the number 13, it is common in tall buildings for the 13th floor to be skipped when installing elevators buttons, it is instead numbered 14. A particularly fearful hotel owner decided to skip floor 13, as well as, any multiples of 13 when numbering the floors. He did the same thing when numbering the rooms. If each floor has rooms numbered to 100 and the elevator has buttons numbered to 30, how many rooms does the hotel have?
